Our gear in action on a recent photoshoot with NorArm and friends. Some good news. Multipurpose and Norwegian Woodland pants were restocked yesterday, along with Shock Pads. Our newsletter subscribers have been raiding the stock for close to 24 hours now and we are already low on stock on certain sizes and colors again. Our manufacturer is in the process of setting up a second workshop so we can catch up to demand, but meanwhile, please stay patient and sign up for our newsletter for the regular head start on restocks and product launches. Our next newsletter will be in early June for the Norwegian Flecktarn launch, and judging by the reactions so far, we have a feeling this pattern will do well.

Bakhmut may have fallen, but the war is far from over. We have another shipment of uniforms planned for the defenders in collaboration with our friends from @veteranaidukraine and @atlasglobalaid, two boots on the ground organization we have worked close with and who shares the same philosophy as us here at NorArm; that actions speak louder than words. Give these guys a follow, and support their efforts if you are able to. It’s a unique way for people at home to help make a direct impact on the ground in a conflict that concerns us all.

Had the pleasure of getting a visit by @sandertrel

Had the pleasure of getting a visit by @sandertrelvik at NorArm HQ this week. Sander is one of the two Norwegian volunteers who got wounded in Ukraine in early February when a Russian rocket hit a group of medics treating a civilian patient. The same rocket that killed American volunteer Pete Reed, a friend of our CEO from when they were volunteering in Iraq.

Our CEO visited Sander at the hospital a few months ago as well, and this young man, only 21 years old, have impressed us a lot. Despite his experience, where he got showered in shrapnel and suffered burn injuries and saw his friend die, he is still determined to go back out there and save lives as a volunteer medic. People like Sander are a rare breed, and deserves all the respect and support they can get. We’re gearing up Sander for his next trip and if anyone else are able to support him, please reach out to him directly.

Quick shoutout to our Operations Manager @norarm_sebastian. This guy have proven that hiring someone based on a gut feeling rather than a fancy resume often pays of. Come to think of it, we never asked Sebastian, this Polish milsim enthusiast customer of ours that would come by NorArm HQ to buy gear, to see his resume or any other documents, and it turned out to be one of the best decision we’ve made for this company.

It’s rare to find someone this dedicated or with such passion for the trade, and it’s not unusual that our CEO has to remind him it’s 4 PM and he needs to get his a*s home. A lot of the recent improvements in our logistics, quality control, product improvements and more is due to Sebastian, and our plate carrier project is something Sebastian have taken charge of as our CEO is overworked as it is. Not only is he in talks with the potential manufacturer in Poland, but he is also the contact person with our field testers in different parts of the world, people with specialized training and real life experience. This will allow Sebastian to put his personal mark, or DNA, in the upcoming plate carrier, and we hope to use this model for the new guys joining the team very soon as well.

Higher education and a fancy resume with fancy titles doesn’t impress us as much as someone with a heart here at NorArm Tactical. Perhaps it’s because both of our co-founders lack higher education and were considered as loosers in school who wouldn’t achieve anything. But through personal experience, they learned that hard work and grinding usually beats talent and education. And no one works or grind harder than someone with a burning passion for the trade. So cheers, Sebastian. Happy you are a part of the team, brother.

Saturday with NorArm and friends. Some news. We restocked most of our Kandahar Combat Shirts and Marawi Combat Tees yesterday. What we weren't able to restock, will be back in stock later. Another shipment with our Kandahar Combat Pants will be here very soon as well, so make sure to sign up for our newsletter to get a head start on our restocks. Our existing newsletter subscribers have allready been buying products from this restock for well over 24 hours now.

Also, despite having a crazy busy day due to the restock, we’ve had a longer meeting with our manufacturer here at NorArm HQ. They presented a plan for us where they will set up a second workshop to be able to keep up with our demand, something they haven’t been able to do for a while. We hope this second workshop will help us keep our stocks full once it’s operational.

Quick update about our restocks. Two large shipments are either on the way or being prepared for shipping as we speak. There have been some delays and we apologize for that. The first shipment, mostly combat shirts and combat tees, should be here next week. The second, mostly combat pants, in possibly 2-3 weeks. Then we have a product launch as well around the same time. We’re meeting with our manufacturer shortly to put together a plan so we can expand production capacity further to keep up with demand. Meanwhile, thank you all for staying patient with us. We appreciate your positive attitude towards the situation.

Our Multipurpose uniform and neck gaiters observed somewhere out there in the world. Also spotted is one of two prototype plate carriers we are having field tested as we speak. We are close to ordering a second round of prototype plate carriers, and if the feedbacks are good, we might make a third before starting full scale production. We can’t promise anything, but launching the plate carrier in 2023 is very realistic. We will reveal more underway, all we can say for now is that we decided to go for laser cut instead of MOLLE, and that we believe we will be able to compete with some of the more high-end brands with this product.
